"The $29.95 Guitar" : 1999

Was actually a $99.95 guitar that had a little water damage on the headstock and
Milano's Music had it in a corner for $29.95 so snatched it anyway. Actually used it
on some of these tunes (then got the Roca at a guitar show shortly afterwards).
Had just started with 20-bit A/D converters and this 8-channel recording software
that had to wait 3 months to get reg key so could only make 60sec multi-tracks.
Ended up painting it real crazy with layers of drippy paint between layers of leaf-blowered
polyeurethane and giving it to first great-nephew. Guitar is history. Broken, long-gone.

0:58    01. The $29.95 Waltz   - with real drums
(... back when was still fussing with umpteen microphone mixing drum levels...)

0:58    02. Maracas Dobles   - with stereo maracas
(...tried to get those maracas a bit less in-your-face, will try again...)

0:54    03. Guiros y Claves   - with stereo guiros and claves
(... same thing with the over-bearing claves...)

0:59    04. ByeBye   - with real drums, vocals too
(... just another version of this like there's already a bunch...)

0:56    05. The $29.95 Cacophony   - 8 parts with the $29.95 guitar
(... over-doing it sure, but learning how to over-do it...)

0:59    06. Chicken Scratch   - in G with real drums and vocal effects
(... the original idea for the tune that later recorded and played live many times...)

0:59    07. Chicken Scratch   - in A faster and strange vocals too
(... tried it faster an in different key, kept tempo of previous but ket key of this...)

0:59    08. Harmoniac   - with real drums 4 harmonicas (2 backwards)
(... a vocal version of this exists but the lyrics are too nasty, even for me yipes...)

0:59    09. Another Happy Day   - just 5 guitar parts with new guitar
(... had just bought the Ibanez AE and made-up a little thing...)

2:51    10. The Lost $29.95 Waltz   - 5 tracks with the 29.95 guitar
(... first attempt at full-length multi-track, mix came out sounding mono ...)
